On June 22, 2017, a group of 52 young and renowned scientists from Rostock and Greifswald met in Warnemünde to discuss new approaches to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular implant infections.
The kick-off meeting of the Card-ii-Omics research project enabled young scientists to get to know each other on a working level and provided the opportunity for interesting talks and discussions. Another focal point of the event was the constitution of the junior research groups in Rostock and Greifswald, and a discussion about future formats of cooperation.
